I’m guessing that these birds are common in Amsterdam and around Holland. Nevertheless, it’s a start! Flocks of ducks etc. are common along the canals, at certain nooks and corners. And that’s where the flock hang out all the time.

Welcome to seeseebirdbird.wordpress.com. You'll find my works of fine-art photography at quarterbar.com and portfolio at quarterbar.com/portfolio.
Bird-watching etc. is only a hobby. A very relaxing hobby that makes me aware of the birds around and their habitats. I have written all of the text etc. published on this blog in a hurry and without much thought. You will come across grammatical errors and spelling mistakes. The contrast etc. of a lot of the photos are ordinary because of the nature of the Mirror Lens. And I haven't colour corrected any of these photos either. Please play along. And thanks for visiting.
I'd love to do wildlife photo shoots professionally. The Canon 300mm f/2.8 is the lens of my choice. It is expensive, to say the least. So whilst I figure things out, I have no choice but to make do with the Mirror Lens.
Mirror Lenses suck! Only very few of the photos posted on this blog are worthy of publishing in print or mounting on walls but if it weren't for the Mirror Lens, all of this knowledge about birds, their behavior, habitats etc. would have been alien to me.
